Bon Jovi

That 2005 Bon Jovi song "Who Says You Can't Go Home" is kinda catchy. But, is it just me, I think, or do I only like that chorus a lot because it sounds so much like the chorus of Sam Cooke's "Cupid," which I like a lot. The parallels are most obvious in that shared trochaic opening -- on the same two notes (Cúpid/Whó says), as well as in the ho-o-ome/bo-o-ow that concludes each line -- but not a lot happens between those two points, and those two similarities are actually rather a lot.

And it turns out, one quick Google search later, I'm not the only one. To notice it, that is. But I swear, I did so independently.
